Project Introduction: This project involves the construction of 80 wind turbine units, each with a capacity of 5 megawatts, and one 220-kilovolt step-up substation. With a total investment of 2.248 billion yuan, the project is a key initiative under Liaoning Province’s “14th Five-Year” energy plan. It also represents a major clean-energy undertaking resulting from the deepened strategic cooperation between State Power Investment Corporation and the Liaoning Provincial Government, and serves as a pilot project for the Northeast Company’s efforts to develop a million-kilowatt-level new-energy base in Jinzhou. Once fully connected to the grid, the project will annually deliver 1.13 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity to the power grid—enough to meet the annual electricity demand of nearly 600,000 households. The project will save approximately 345,000 tons of standard coal each year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 9.12 million tons, and generate annual tax revenues of about 55 million yuan. It boasts significant economic and ecological benefits, playing a crucial role in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the local energy structure and driving high-quality, sustainable socio-economic development in the region.
